Festive cheer at Lifestyle Centre

Festive cheer at Lifestyle Centre

Lifestyle Centre is keeping it festive over the December and January summer holidays. The centre’s trading hours will be extended to 8am – 8pm for the period 14 – 30 December, with anchor tenant Lifestyle SUPERSPAR opening 7am – 9pm for the same period, including all public holidays.

From 14 – 24 December, Father Christmas and his face painting elves will be entertaining the little guests at The Market, while two gift wrapping stations, one outside Woolworths and Toast and the other outside SUPERSPAR, will be available for customers to have any gifts they have bought at the centre wrapped free of charge.

Live music in The Market and on Eat Street on weekends has been well-received by locals throughout the year and will be ramped up from 7 December to include most weekdays. Visitors to the centre can expect to find local buskers and musicians playing alongside the likes of Qadasi & Maqhinga, Rowan Stuart, The Kickstands, Dave Starke, Nibs van der Spuy and other superb acts. The very popular Winston Smile will also be making a number of appearances and will be sure to keep it festive!

Just a few of the great artists that will be performing at Lifestyle Centre’s The Market and Eat Street during the holidays.

Weekly live music schedules can be found on their website at http://www.ballitolifestylecentre.co.za/events/ or on their Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/ballitolifestylecentre/.

According to Lifestyle Centre co-owner, Bruce Rencken, “We have worked hard at reinventing our offering this past year. It is all about experiential shopping now. We have aimed at creating beautiful settings in which to shop and enjoy the food on offer and we want the convenience, vibe and surprises around every corner to all add to a great shopping experience.”
