The inaugural ‘First Thursdays’ will take place on 2 June 2022 at The Studios at Lifestyle Centre and on the first Thursday of every month thereafter.
Presented as an opportunity to “connect with your tribe and soak up the vibe”, ‘First Thursdays’ is a full day concept event at The Studios, which will see the various stores showcase their offerings with activations and promotions that will run throughout the day. Customers will have plenty to look forward to during the course of the day, including:
- Unique one-day-only offers from all stores at The Studios, as well as surrounding stores Weylandts, Hair 4 U, Esse and Waxit
- Open mat classes at TashB Pilates
- FITPOD showcases
- Workshops and demos in the newly unveiled NEXT LEVEL collection of meeting spaces, which will be launched on the same day
- The official launch of new store, PURE COLLECTION HOME
- Live music over lunchtime with Steadfast, 11am – 2pm
This will then extend into a full evening event with:
- Extended trading hours to 8.30pm for evening browsing and shopping
- The launch of the new exhibition at The Gallery, entitled Tidal
- Live entertainment by Quiet Storm, 5.30 – 8.30pm
- FITPOD evening classes
- Media launch, workshops and demos at NEXT LEVEL
- Wine tasting, courtesy of Lifestyle TOPS
- Mobile bar and tapas from Alchemy
- Sushi station from 45 on Eat Street
Bruce Rencken, owner of Lifestyle Centre, explains “The Studios launched in September last year and has become a vibey node of Lifestyle Centre, with its bespoke mix of unique retail offerings, together with Coffee Lab, TashB Pilates, FITPOD and now Next Level. Our aim was to create an inviting space where people feel comfortable to connect, linger, indulge and look after themselves. We now plan to welcome customers to The Studios once a month for a special day of unique offers, an exclusive evening of extended trading and the chance to enjoy the vibe, energy and atmosphere of this multi-functional space.”
