Lifestyle Centre a part of the Durban street fashion scene…

A big part of our ethos here at Lifestyle Centre Ballito is not only being a part of the community but also to play our part in sustainability and conservation. After doing a recent clean out of our store room, we handed over bags of our old fabric teardrop banners, which bore our old branding, to the ladies at Castaway Love who share our vision of sustainability. Together with The Maker Space and a Durban fashion street brand, IREBO, our no-longer-needed banners have been up-cycled into stylish and functional backpacks!

With the aim of bettering the community and the world at large through Fashion and recycling, IREBO was started by two childhood friends from Inanda, north of Durban who are following their dream to create up-cycled street fashion.

Castaway Love at the Lifestyle Centre is stocking some of the IREBO range so our old banners have done full circle and, in their own way, have put some unique and funky fashion on the streets of Durban!
