While the threat of COVID-19 has meant that Santa can no longer pay his annual visit to the centre, and the friendly elves cannot wrap presents, Lifestyle Centre will be gifting their customers with a free photobooth experience from 16 – 24 December whereby they will obtain a free A6 Christmas photo (one per family). The booth will be situated outside Lifestyle SUPERSPAR and terms and conditions apply.
Live music in The Market and on Eat Street will be ramped up from 11 December to include performances every day. Visitors to the centre can expect to find local musicians playing at The Market and Eat Street alongside the likes of The Kickstands, Qadasi & Maqhinga, Rowan Stuart, Dave Starke, John Ellis and other superb acts. The popular Winston Smile will also be sure to keep it festive! Jazz Sundays on Eat Street will feature bands such as Beat Route, 5th Season Jazz, Afritude and Saxadelic performing between 12.30pm and 3.30pm every weekend. See the New Year in at your favourite restaurant on Eat Street, with The Kickstands performing at The Wishing Well on 31 December. Bookings are essential and patrons are reminded to be mindful of the curfew.

A new and exciting addition to the Lifestyle Centre is The Gallery at The Studios (opening 11 December 2020) which is hosting an exhibition of talented local artists, open daily from 9am – 7pm. The exhibition runs until the end of January 2021. Look out for their interactive workshops such as oil painting, realistic and figure drawing as well as charcoal portraits with the likes of Dennis Woest, Jane Digby, Chris Khoury and many more, and add some of your own personal flair to their interactive art walls, in aid of local charities.
See the Lifestyle Centre website for more information – www.ballitolifestylecentre.co.za/events.
During this festive season, customers are reminded that all Covid protocols still apply, ie. Wearing of masks, social distancing and regular sanitising. All tenants have strict procedures in place to protect staff and customers and Centre Management asks that the public play their part in being responsible and considerate to other shoppers and diners.
